scc foundation announces 2007-2008 mini-grant award winners

West Burlington -- The Southeastern Community College Foundation Board awarded three SCC projects worth a total of $2,500. The winning projects were: $1,000 toward a student audience response system, $1,000 to update the instructional media used to teach Economics and Ethics courses, and $500 to assist in the purchase of a laser printer in one of the College’s computer labs.

SCC faculty and staff submit proposals in response to a request for proposals in April of every year. Winning proposals best fulfill criteria including the description of the project, the number of students impacted, other available funding sources, and the corresponding institutional strategic goal.
