Stick Welding Certificate

In this American Welding Society "SENSE" aligned course, participants will learn the fundamentals of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) welding, informally known as "Stick" welding.  SMAW is one of the first and most popular welding processes.  It is used extensively in industrial fabrication and construction of steel structures.  

Program Overview:

  • Intro to Welding, Safety, & Health of Workers
  • Print Reading & Welding Symbol Interpretation
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding I
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding II

224 Hours / 44 Sessions / 9 Weeks
Classes meet Monday - Friday 
4 - 9pm
