Respiratory Care winners

Respiratory Care Students Win Sputum Bowl Trophy 5th Straight Year

SCC Respiratory Care students took first place at this year's Sputum Bowl competition in Des Moines for the fifth year in a row. Students Cheryl Gries, Kelsey Brackelsberg and Madeline Helminiak won first place. Another SCC team comprised of fellow students Anthony Schulte, Jen Bowling and Tressa Harrison took third place.

Sports Shooting Receives Gifts from Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever

The SCC Sport Shooting team recently received $4000 in donations from two area conservation organizations. Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever each donated $2000 to the team. The monies will be used to pay for a special trailer the team will use to store and transport gear.
