Childcare Assistance

Childcare services are available on the West Burlington campus in the 100 building.

The on-campus Kiddie Campus cares for children age 5 weeks to 5 years. The daycare is open from 6:30 am to 6 pm Mon -Fri. Part-time enrollment is offered Mon - Thurs, full-time enrollment is offered on Mon - Fri.

PART-TIME
Monday - Thursday, half days (max 5 hours per day)
Full day on Friday (min 6 hours)

Cost:
YMCA members: $125 per week per child
Community: $145 per week per child

FULL-TIME
Monday - Friday (min 6 hours per day)

Cost:
YMCA Members: $150 per week per child
Community: $170 per week per child

SCC Students and staff are eligible to receive a 10% discount off the total weekly tuition fee. 

Families with 2 or more children enrolled full time are eligible for a 20% discount to be applied to the youngest child’s weekly tuition fee.

Enrollment is open to children of students, faculty and staff, as well as being open to the public.

Dining Services

West Burlington campus offers cafeteria service at the Blackhawk Bistro in the 400 building. During the traditional semester, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday, and brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday.

Hours of operation on Saturday and Sundays are 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

During the summer, the Blackhawk Bistro is open 8:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m., serving breakfast and lunch. The required board plan for students in our residence halls offer a choice of 14, 17, or 19 meals per week, paid by semester.

Meal block plans (10, 25, 50 meals) are also available for all other students, and for faculty and staff. On-campus catering is available by arrangement.

Keokuk campus offers a cafeteria in Barr-Wittenmeyer Hall with lunch served Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semester. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. On-campus catering is available by arrangement.

Vending machines are available year-round on both campuses.
