When I took over my late husband's business I knew that we weren't being efficient and while I couldn't prove it on paper, I knew we were losing money. We started working with SCC's Center for Business in 2014 to incorporate LEAN training and that has made a huge impact across the company. The LEAN program has taught us to be more efficient and save us time and money.

My biggest fear of starting this journey was the cost and that I wasn't going to get anything in return. SCC staff really provided us with quality training and even helped us secure funds to pay for much of the training. But really, it turns out that the cost is so minimal compared to what we're getting back. LEAN is a journey that I'm glad we started and I really look forward to continuing.
