Student Success Resources
SCC's Success Centers encompass a variety of services and programs to support students in their academic endeavors. From college placement assessment to instruction, tutoring and more, our staff and faculty are committed to helping students achieve their goals.
The Success Center is located in Room 206 on the Keokuk campus and Room 513 on the West Burlington campus. Students are welcome to study in both centers. The Keokuk center also includes computers and a private room for group study.
Disability Accommodations
Our staff members coordinate services that ensure a fair learning environment for
individuals with documented disabilities.
Instruction
Our instructors teach fundamental and college level courses for students to build
foundational skills in areas of math, science, English and study skills.
Academic Achievement Center
Professional tutors are available during the week to assist students with English
and math subjects. Peer tutors are available upon request for other subjects. The
service is free for any SCC student. Remember, using tutoring services doesn't mean
you're dumb. It means you're working hard.
