The sixth annual Southeast Iowa Regional Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Festival (STEMFest) will take place at SCC's West Burlington campus on Saturday, February 23 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event is a joint effort between SCC, the Southeast Iowa STEM Hub, local businesses, manufacturers, and educators.

SCC Transfer Students Outperform State Average
A recent study has found that Southeastern Community College (SCC) students who transfer to the three major state universities in Iowa enter the schools with higher GPAs, earn higher GPAs the first semester, and perform better after the first year than the average Iowa community college student.
SCC Safety Conference & Expo Addresses Workplace Hazards
Southeastern Community College will host the annual Safety Conference and Expo at the West Burlington campus. This year's theme is Building a Culture of Safety. The event will be held on Thursday, August 9 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Registration prior to Thursday, August 2 is $79; registration after August 2 is $99. Organizations sending a group of five or more can register for $49 dollars per person.
