Southeastern Community College and the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) finalized an articulation agreement that allows officers who graduate from the Law Enforcement Academy to earn 15 semester hours of SCC credit towards a two year degree.

The Iowa Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (I-AM) is an Iowa community college initiative to elevate advanced manufacturing, funded through a previously announced $13 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) Grant Program.

SCC Foundation 2013 Taste of Fine Wine, Arts & Ale Scholarship Fundraiser Set for Friday, April 5
The 7th annual Taste of Fine Wine, Arts & Ale is scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Catfish Bend/Pzazz! Event Center in Burlington, IA. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and a two-hour sample tasting of an estimated 80 wines, beers, ales and locally roasted coffees. A live auction will round out the evening. Net proceeds from the event will help fund SCC scholarships and mini-grant projects.
SCC Foundation Scholarship Deadline for Fall Awards is April 1
Are you attending SCC in the fall and need help with college tuition? The SCC Foundation (SCCF) offers around 300 scholarship awards totaling nearly $200,000 to students enrolling at SCC. Awards range from $150 to full tuition and books. The deadline for applying is 4:30PM on April 1.

Iowa students and families can get free assistance with forms required for federal financial aid during Iowa College Goal Sunday at SCC's West Burlington campus on Saturday, February 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and at the Keokuk campus on Saturday, February 23 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
