Southeastern Community College will celebrate April as National Poetry Month by hosting a Visiting Writers Series event on Saturday, April 14, at 8:00 p.m. Scheduled to read is Mary Fons, a nationally ranked slam poet, freelance writer, and Neo-Futurist. SCC's Culture on Campus Committee and Di Dante Literature & Writing Club will co-host the event.

SCC Keokuk campus Drama and Art Clubs will host Keokuk's Inaugural Zombie Walk Supporting SCC's Arts on Friday, October 21. The walk will begin at River City Mall in downtown Keokuk. The walk starts at 6:00pm. Registration and a demonstration will start at 5:30pm.
