What are the PACE Programs?
Every person deserves a pathway to success. Pathways for Academic Career and Employment (PACE) is here to help you map out your goals and most importantly, create a plan to reach them.
The PACE Program is composed of multiple student service resources for students in need. These include:
- PACE: Pathways for Academic Career Employment
- GAP Tuition Assistance
- SNAP Employment and Training
- Ticket to Work
- Second Chance Pell
Each student is assigned a Pathway Navigator once accepted into the PACE Program. Pathway Navigators work with you to determine which PACE Programs are the best fit for you and your needs to ensure success within your Pathway for Academic Career and Employment.
What can the PACE Programs do for me?
- Offer personalized guidance in the steps needed to achieve all of your educational goals, even HSED.
- One-on-one advising. We help you explore careers to assist you in finding the right career fit for you with a livable wage.
- Determine eligibility for funding sources available for specialized training for in-demand industries.
- Job retention services post-completion of an educational program.
- Connect you to community resources that help with housing, transportation, utilities, food, and other barriers to success.
Are the PACE Programs for me?
If you answer YES to one of the following, you might be eligible for PACE services:
- Are you currently unemployed?
- Were you recently laid off from a job due to a plant closure or position elimination?
- Do you need to go back to school to earn your high school diploma or HSED?
- Are you considered low-income by federal government standards?
