Kidtek is coming! These certainly are crazy times.  Even through everything is upside down, you're trying your best to keep some sense of normal life going for your kids.  SCC is here to help!

ONLINE CAMPS
Our Kidtek summer learning camps now include an online-only option. Your kids can learn fun science and technology topics from the safety of your home via your computer.

IN-PERSON CAMPS
Our popular in-person camps are schedule for late June, July, and August to allow more time for the pandemic to end and distancing requirements to be lifted. Note that camps remain subject to change to comply with local and state health mandates.  Class size for in-person camps will be held at 8 unless restrictions are lifted.  If a camp is full please call 319-208-5375 to be added to a wait list.

Cybersecurity Defender Challenge (9 - 11 Graders)
Cybersecurity Defender Challenge is designed to inspire 9 - 11 graders to explore careers in cyberspace, healthcare technologies, and other STEM disciplines critical to our nation's future.  The 5 - day cyber security challenge provides students with the opportunity to explore the world of cyberspace with cyberspace experts by emphasizing fun, relative and applicable technology environment.  Students will engage in topics ranging from Cyber ethics and safety, how to protect their personal devices to, computer components and software, and defense against outside cyber threats.  Students will utilize the knowledge they have gained in the camp to construct hardware, install software, and secure a Raspberry PI computer that will be theirs to keep at the end of the camp.  Instructor will be available online throughout the day to answer questions.
