Des Moines County Public Health will administer COVID-19 vaccinations at the Des Moines County Fairgrounds next to Southeastern Community College throughout October.
Vaccinations are currently offered by appointment on the following dates:
Oct. 1 and 5 from 12 pm to 6 pm
Oct. 11, 13, 15, 19 and 22 from 8:30 am to 4 pm
One-dose Johnson & Johnson, along with first and second doses of Pfizer and Moderna are all available.
Booster shots will be offered to individuals who meet the requirements set by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which can be found at cdc.gov.
Individuals receiving a second dose or booster shot are asked to bring their vaccine cards. All recipients of a vaccine will be asked to wait 15 to 30 minutes following their vaccine before leaving.
