WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa — The annual Southeastern Community College Foundation (SCCF) Great Tastes event is scheduled for Friday, November 6, at the Great River Event Center in Burlington.
Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. with the event starting at 6 p.m.
Guests will enjoy an evening of great food, drinks, and live music, beginning with a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m. featuring tastings and appetizers. SCC music instructor Dr. Daniel Pappas and his jazz trio will provide live music throughout the evening. At 7 p.m., guests will sit down to a plated dinner, offering a delicious sampling of more appetizers and specialty desserts.
The evening will also feature live and silent auctions, a wine pull, and raffles. Auction offerings will include brunch and dining experiences, Cardinals baseball and golf packages, casino getaways, desserts, themed baskets, and more. Raffle prizes include a chance to win $500 in Christmas Cash or a $500 gas card.
“Great Tastes brings people together for a fun evening, but what makes it especially meaningful is what that support makes possible for our students,” says Val Giannettino, Executive Director for Institutional Advancement.
“Every ticket, auction bid, and raffle entry helps create opportunities at SCC. It’s a chance to enjoy a great night with friends while investing in students, programs, and our community.”
Net proceeds support SCC Foundation Board scholarships, instructional program mini-grants, and SCC initiatives.
Individual tickets are $75 each. Sponsor tables for eight are available for $600.
