Housing Rates

SCC provides housing and food service opportunities for all students. Check out our available options below to find what suits your needs.

Resident students on the West Burlington campus are required to maintain a dining services meal plan. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Monday through Friday; brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

Students pay for housing and dining by direct payment, scholarships, Nelnet or other types of loans. Charges are billed at the beginning of each semester.

2024-25 Rates

Double occupancy (2-person, bedroom),  per person: 

Blackhawk Towers/Millennium Hall: $3,150 per semester
Witte/Winegard: $2887.50 per semester

Single occupancy (1-person, bedroom), per person:

Blackhawk Tower: $6,300 per semester
Witte/Winegard: $5,775 per semester

All residence halls are billed at the same rate. Room rates are based on the number of occupants in each room. Single room availability is based on residence hall vacancies. Ask for details.

A one-time deposit of $300 is required when applying for a residence hall room. $50 serves as a room reservation fee (non-refundable) and $250 serves as a damage deposit.

19 meals per week $1,820 per semester
