Accessibility services

The Accessibility Services Office is the primary place on campus with specialized knowledge and experience in accessibility issues. The Accessibility Services Office serves students with physical, psychological, medical, and learning disabilities.

Campus activities, clubs and organizations

Take an active role in your college experience. It's easy to find people exactly like you - just look around. With over two dozen student clubs and organizations, there's something for everyone.

Collegiate athletics

Let's go Blackhawks! The SCC Blackhawks compete in several men's and women's collegiate sports.

Computer services

Computer labs are available at all SCC locations.

Parking

SCC provides free parking for students at all our locations.

Intramurals

Burn off some steam, make friends, have fun, and get fit. SCC offers co-ed intramurals for volleyball, basketball, and bowling.

IT Help Desk

The Help Desk serves as your single point of contact for all technical problems and requests concerning college computers, SCC email accounts, network resources, and information systems.

Library services

The Yohe Memorial Library at the West Burlington Campus and the Fred Karre Memorial Library at the Keokuk Campus offer a variety of resources, as well as staff to assist you.

Student success advocates

Your student success advocate is your go-to person to help you navigate college. They'll help you figure out which classes to take and direct you to resources and support so you successfully complete your academic goals.

Student Support Services (TRIO)

Student Support Services (TRIO) is a federally-funded program available to students. Our focus is to support and assist SCC students who seek to transfer to a four-year college within four years. Students must be a first-generation college student and/or meet federal income guidelines

Testing Center

Contact the testing center for placement tests, make up exams, proctored exams for online classes and other testing needs.

Tutoring

The Academic Achievement Center offers tutoring services and resources to help you succeed in the classroom. Professional tutors will help you work through those hard classes when you just need a little help. You can also work directly with a peer tutor at no cost to you.
