What is the Annual Golf Outing About?

The SCCAA hosts the annual golf outing fundraiser at the lovely 18-hole Sheaffer Golf Course in Lee County, Iowa on the 3rdFriday of July. Proceeds from the event fund scholarships for graduating and transferring SCC students, mini-grants for college programming improvements, and plaques and receptions to honor our Distinguished Alumni.

On top of everything else, there are options for raffle tickets, hole games and a chance to win Hole-in-One prizes including one $10,000 prize (half to the winner/half to the SCCAA!).

Reasons our golfers love this event:

  • Every golfer gets a NICE player prize
  • Win cash with our 50/50 raffle - tickets are 5 for $20
  • The Hole-in-One prize - you could win $5,000 as the golfer and $5,000 will go to the SCCAA
  • Starts with a healthy breakfast and ends with a delicious lunch straight from the grill
  • Beverages are free all day long! (Cash bar for spirits)
