Do you love helping others, learning about the past, or keeping the community safe?

If so, SCC has just the program for you: Behavioral and Social Science Pathway. The world needs more caring people like you who want to become teachers, counselors, emergency responders, or mentors.

Students inSCC's Behavioral and Social Science Pathway learn how to understand people and make a positive impact on their lives. At SCC, you won't just learn – you'll take action.

Learn important skills for understanding how society works and why people act the way they do by using basic research and data.

You'll also explore communities, relationships, and cultures, and talk about how societies function. By doing this, you can help make positive changes.

The Behavioral and Social Science Pathway prepares you for the future. You can go on to a four-year college, or start working as a counselor, teacher, emergency responder, or social worker, or enter many other fields like community development, cultural research, human resources, historical endeavors, or even law enforcement.
