Learn the basics of computer programming the fun way, by making a 2D game using the Lua programming language. Ever wanted to learn to code, but didn't know where to start? Start by making a game! This course assumes no prior programming knowledge. After learning the fundamentals of Lua we'll put those skills to use with the Love2D framework which has been used to create indie hits like Balatro and Move or Die. Draw shapes and images on the screen and get them moving. Let the player control things by learning about handling input from the keyboard and mouse.
