College Reading and Learning Association Certification
The AAC has been awarded certification as a Level 1 certified tutor training program by the internationally recognized College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
Achieving certification means that we underwent the International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) peer review process and have met CRLA's high standards for tutor selection, training, direct service, and evaluation as an integral part of our overall tutoring program.
A Level 1 certification earned by a tutor means they have been recommended by at least one faculty member for each subject tutored, have received 10 hours of training, and have completed at least 25 hours of actual tutoring.
